OUR MISSION & VISION

At New Hope Guinea-Bissau, we’re grateful for the doors God has opened for us to serve in this beautiful nation. Our heart is to come alongside local communities—helping build up essential areas like education, health and other vital services that make everyday life better. We want our faith to be seen not just in words, but in action—through love, compassion, and practical support.

Our vision is simple but powerful: to be used by God to bring hope where hope feels lost. We want to go where others may not go, shining the light of Jesus through hands-on help and genuine care. Our prayer is to see lives transformed—people set free from darkness and welcomed into the light of God’s kingdom.

“If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?

So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”
